I don't have the 5 years of required experience yet. Should I still take this?

Yes, absolutely. This is a common and smart career strategy. If you pass the exam without the full experience, you are awarded the "Associate of (ISC)2" designation. This is extremely valuable and shows employers you have the knowledge of a CISSP. You then have 6 years to earn the required experience, at which point you become a full CISSP. Taking this class is the best way to pass the exam and get that "Associate" status.
